Bengaluru Auto Driver: After the ban on bike taxi in Silicon City Bangalore, the Transport Department has given a shock to the aggregator companies and auto drivers charging arbitrary fare from passengers. RTO officials have tightened the auto drivers charging double fare from passengers in broad daylight and have registered cases against 1006 auto drivers in just one week and have seized 233 autos.

Last week, Transport Department officials examined about 3,531 autos in 11 RTO offices in Bengaluru. He registered cases against 1,006 autos for without permits, lack of proper insurance, lack of documents and doubling the fare from customers. He seized 233 autos and took it into custody.
