Mumbai: A 17 -year -old young man in Navi Mumbai, angry at the 12 -year -old girl refused to have sex, attacked her with a stone and left the body in the forest. However, the young man came to return the girl’s mobile phone and claimed that he had received this phone on the road. However, since the teenager was last seen with him, the police confiscated the mobile phone and on the basis of technical investigation and interrogation, identified Tarun involved in the murder and arrested him.

The teenager came out of her house in Shivrane area of Turbhe in Navi Mumbai on Friday morning, as her parents went to work. After this she did not return till night. Late Friday night, the 12-year-old girl living in Indira Nagar in Turbhe lodged a missing complaint at the MIDC police station in Turbhe. The police have registered a case of kidnapping in this case and started further investigation.
Later, during the search, police and family members found the teenager soaked in a forest area in a forest area 100 meters away from his house at midnight. He was then immediately admitted to the hospital. However, he was declared dead during medical examination.
According to preliminary investigation by the police, he died due to a huge object like a stone on his face. After this, the police started intensive investigation around the scene. During the investigation, it was found that after the girl disappeared, a 17 -year -old youth living in the same area had gone to the victim’s house to give her mobile phone. In which Tarun told that he got this phone on the road. The police was last seen with a 17 -year -old youth during the technical analysis of mobile phones in this case and the CCTV footage of the surrounding CCTV footage. Therefore, on the basis of suspicion, the police detained a 17 -year -old youth.
After this he was interrogated intense. In which he confessed the crime and said that the accused had allegedly taken the teenager to a deserted place and molested him on the pretext of taking selfies there. The young man then made unwanted demands from the teenager and tried to sexually abuse her. During this time, when the victim protested, angry youths stabbed the teenager with a big stone and killed the teenager.
The police produced Tarun in court and sent him to the Kishore Reform Home.
