A similar spectacular sight was seen on Tuesday at Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur. A two-day job fair started here and on the very first day, the dreams of 262 youth took flight when they got job offers from various companies. This is a very good news for the youth of Gorakhpur, who are looking for employment.
What was special in this employment fair?
Huge enthusiasm was seen among the youth since morning on Tuesday, October 15, 2025 in MMMUT of Gorakhpur. Students from far and wide had come here with the hope of getting jobs. ‘Gorakhpur Job Fair’ brought a new ray of hope for the youth. This job fair was organized mainly targeting students of courses like Graduate, Post Graduate, B.Tech and MBA, although students with other qualifications also participated.
Overall, more than 20 companies reached here on the first day, who selected the candidates according to their needs. These companies included companies from many sectors like tech, management, sales, engineering. Rounds of interviews and group discussion (GD) continued throughout the day.
Shower of happiness: 262 got jobs!
The best news was that on the very first day of the fair, various companies handed over job offer letters to 262 candidates. As soon as this figure came out, there was an atmosphere of joy in the university campus. Not only were there joy on the faces of the students who got jobs, other students also got hope that they might get a similar opportunity the next day. This was a successful effort for ‘Youth Employment in Gorakhpur’. The students who got ‘placement’ were congratulated by the university administration and fed sweets. This ‘MMMUT Placement Drive’ has opened new employment opportunities for the region.

This two-day employment fair will continue on Wednesday also, in which many more companies are going to arrive. In such a situation, it is expected that more youth will get job opportunities than on the first day. The university administration has appealed to the students to take full advantage of this opportunity and make their future bright. This is a big success of ‘UP Job Fair 2025’. Such events give a great boost to ‘regional employment’.
