Five -time champions of IPL 2025 Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have not been able to perform well in this tournament. Take a look at the position of the points table after 23 matches of the tournament.
If you look at the standing of IPL 2025, then Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans are in strong form this season. The Gujarat Titans have secured the first position in the points table. Gujarat has played 5 matches so far, out of which it has won. Apart from this, the team of Delhi Capitals is second with 3 wins and RCB’s team is in third place. On the other hand, now the 3 -winning teams seem to be deteriorating.
Punjab Kings are fourth in the points table in this tournament. Punjab has played 4 matches so far, out of which it has won 3 matches and lost 1 match. Lucknow Super Gynts are fifth with six points. Lucknow has played 5 matches and won 3 of them. Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals are in sixth and seventh position respectively.
Yes, we are talking about champion teams like Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad. For which the path of playoff will not be easy at all. These three teams are also in danger of exile. The three teams have played 5-5-5 matches and all three teams have to lose 4-4-4 matches. Hyderabad’s team ranks final in the points table. The performance of the three teams in this competition has been very disappointing. The Hyderabad team seems to be very strong on paper but the batsmen of the team have done poorly.
