News India Live, Digital Desk: Cricket, especially T20 format, is considered a game of batsmen. In the last over, the bowler has such a beating that he just hides his face. But think, what if a bowler shows one, 5 batsmen one after the other in the last over of the match?
It seems like a dream, isn’t it? But this is not a dream, but a reality. And the bowlers who ‘possible’ this ‘impossible’ are an Indian- Abhimanyu Mithun,
This charisma was done in 2019, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy In the semi -final match. The competition was between Karnataka and Haryana. The Haryana team was batting and Mithun came to throw the last over of the innings.
And then what happened became history …
- First ball: Wicket!
- Second ball: Wicket!
- Third ball: Wicket! (Hat -trick Poor)
- Fourth ball: Wicket! (Four wickets off four consecutive balls)
- Fifth ball: Scored a run.
- Sixth ball: Wicket!
That is, in the same over Total 5 wicketsIt also included a hat -trick. In the history of T20 cricket, such a feat was rarely seen. He overturned the dice of the entire match from this one over.
Gemini did not stop here just …
This is not the only record of Abhimanyu Mithun that makes him special. That of India Only such bowlers Who are of domestic cricket All three big formats I have achieved the distinction of taking hat -trick:
- Ranji Trophy: First-class cricket
- Vijay Hazare Trophy: List-e cricket
- Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy: T20 cricket
This record shows their ability and continuity. Even though Abhimanyu Mithun has not got a chance to play much for the Indian team, but his name has been recorded in golden letters in the history of domestic cricket. His 5 -wicket feat off 5 balls is a record that will be remembered for many years to come.
