FIR has been registered against Bollywood actors Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath. This FIR has been lodged by Vipul Antil, a resident of Sonipat district of Haryana, at Murthal Police Station. Vipul alleged that the Human Welfare Credit Cooperative Society registered in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) has run away with crores of rupees belonging to more than 50 lakh people. According to Vipul, Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath had promoted this company, while Sonu Sood had attended a program of this company as the chief guest.
Did the company cheat people?
According to the complaint of Vipul Antil, this company collected money from people for 6 years. The company had promised that investors would get higher returns through fixed deposits (FD) and other investment schemes. To win people’s trust, the company got Bollywood actors promoted, organized seminars in expensive hotels and even paid money to some people in the beginning. But now the company has started showing reluctance in returning their money to the people.
11 people nominated
Vipul also informed that the company had more than 250 convenience centers in Haryana, where agents worked and senior officials worked only online. When people protested by going to the offices, the agents locked these centers and ran away, while the officers switched off their mobiles. Apart from Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath, a total of 11 people have been named in the FIR registered by the police.
