Description and eligibility of posts

Total Posts: 22,195 vacancies (in various zonal railways and production units)

Educational qualification: Candidate’s degree from a recognized board 10th pass (Matriculation) It is mandatory to have. Or ITI (NCVT/SCVT) certificate holders can also apply.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years. (Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per rules).

Application Fee

General/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 will be refunded after appearing in the CBT exam).

SC/ST/Women/Disabled/Minorities: ₹250 (Entire amount will be refunded after appearing for the examination).

Selection Process

Candidates have to go through the following steps for selection in RRB Group D:

Computer Based Test (CBT): In this, questions will be asked from Math, Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running and weight lifting.

Document Verification (DV): Scrutiny of original documents.
