A boy returning home from school died after being hit by a tractor | News India

Jaunpur, 20 August (HS). A boy from a private school in Baraiyakaji village of Sarai Khwaja police station area died a painful death on the spot on Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a sand laden tractor while returning home from school. Police have registered a case against the tractor driver on the complaint of the family and have started investigation.

Shiv Kumar's son Anuj Yadav (8), a resident of Mirapur village, used to teach in a private school in Baraiyakaji village of the police station area. On Tuesday afternoon, as usual, he had just left for home after school when a speeding tractor loaded with sand crushed him near Baraiyakaji village. Due to which he died on the spot. As soon as the news of the son's death reached, there was an uproar among the family members. Father Shivkumar is in a bad condition due to crying. Family members said that Anuj had two sisters and a brother.

SHO Raj Narayan Chaurasia said that a case has been registered against the tractor driver on the basis of the father's complaint. The body has been sent for postmortem and the tractor has been taken into custody and investigation is being carried out.
