Accused arrested with 265 grams of heroin, case registered under NDPS Act

Ludhiana: The Crime Branch-1 team took a major action and arrested Raju Kalia, a resident of the village Bhatia Colony, along with 265 grams of heroin. Giving information, Sub-Inspector Amarjeet Singh said that during the patrol, the police team reached the back area of ​​the metro mall, where they saw the accused in a suspicious situation.

According to the police, Raju Kalia was holding a black envelope in his right hand. When the police stopped him and investigated, 265 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.

A case has been registered against the accused in this case under the relevant sections of NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance) Act. The police have started further investigation and are trying to find out where the accused heroin brought and plans to supply it.
