Adani Group with Google: These days there is a different competition going on in the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Now, to meet this need, the company of veteran Indian businessman Gautam Adani is moving towards a big partnership with America’s tech giant ‘Google’.

News is coming that Adani Group is involved in Google’s Indian data center project. $500 crore ($5 billion) I am planning to make a huge investment.

Google’s preparation and India’s role

The story starts from last month i.e. October. Google had announced that it is making its largest investment ever to promote AI in India—almost $1500 crore ($15 billion)—going to do. This investment will be made in the next 5 years.

For this, Google has chosen Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, where a huge AI data center will be built. You might be thinking that data center is fine, but why such a big investment? In fact, AI does not run on a normal computer. For this, thousands of high-tech chips have to be connected together and run, which is called ‘clustering’. These machines consume a lot of electricity to keep them cool and running.

Why is Adani Group investing money?

This is where Adani Group enters. Adani Group CFO Jugeshinder Singh has made it clear that this investment is a big opportunity to capitalize on the speed at which the demand for data is increasing.

This deal can be done through Adani Group company ‘Adani Connex’. Let us tell you that Adani Connex is a joint venture between Adani Enterprises and ‘EdgeConnex’. Their job is to build and manage the data center. The CFO believes that when it comes to ‘gigawatt’ level capacity and power, big companies like Google will definitely want to work with us.

This new campus in Andhra Pradesh will initially have a power capacity of 1 Gigawatt, which is a huge figure.

Mukesh Ambani is also in the race

It is not that only Adani is jumping into this field. India’s second richest person Mukesh Ambani is also strengthening his hold in AI and data centers. Tech companies around the world are spending billions of rupees like water to create AI infrastructure. Google has promised to spend approximately $ 85 billion this year to increase the power of its data centers across the world.

Overall, India is gradually moving towards becoming the ‘data powerhouse’ of the world. And when a tech giant like Google and an infrastructure king like Adani come together, the pace of technology is sure to increase further.
