Mahoba, July 29 (HS). On the second Monday of Sawan, the Shiva temple resounded with the chants of Har-Har Mahadev and Bam-Bam Bhole. The devotees enthusiastically anointed Lord Bholenath and prayed for the welfare of the entire world including their families.
Giving information, Shivkishore Pandey, priest of Shri Umangeshwar Dwadash Jyotirling Mahadev Temple located at the district headquarters, said that this time there are five Mondays in the month of Shravan. Although the worship of Bhole on each day of the month of Savan has its own importance, but worshipping Lord Bhole on Monday is very fruitful. Today, on the second Monday of Savan, the process of devotees reaching Shiva temples started from the morning itself and the Shiva temples echoed with the chants of Har Har Bam-Bam. Rudrabhishek of Lord Bhole Nath was performed by the devotees and wishes were made for the welfare of their family.
Every day 11 thousand earthen Shivlingas are being made by devotees in the Dwadasha Jyotirlinga Temple complex located on Ram Katha Marg, which will continue for the entire month. Devotees have visited all the Shiva temples including the Shiv Tandava Temple, Balkhandeshwar Temple, the huge Shiv temple at Badi Chandrika, Umangeshwar Temple and worshipped Bhole with great joy. It is believed that worshipping Lord Shiva in the month of Sawan fulfils all wishes. For security reasons, police force has been deployed outside the temples. In major Shiva temples, vehicle parking arrangements have been made away from the temple.
