News India Live, Digital Desk: Recently, Prashant Kishore, associated with the Jan Suraj Abhiyan, made a big announcement, after which the party’s state president Manoj Bharti has announced a new decision. Manoj Bharti has announced that from now on he will fast for one day every week. This step is being taken to convey the message of Jan Suraj Party to the people of Bihar in a more effective manner, so that there can be direct communication with the people.
Let us tell you that after Jan Suraj did not get results as expected in Bihar elections, Prashant Kishore himself was engaged in introspection. He observed a one-day silent fast at Bhitiharwa Gandhi Ashram in Bettiah. This is the same place from where he started his political journey in Bihar about three years ago. Prashant Kishor had admitted that perhaps he could not fully convey his message to the hearts of the people. He termed this fast of silence as an atonement for his lack of communicating the issues raised by him to the public. He believes that resolution matters more than political noise.
Now this weekly fast of Manoj Bharti takes the same thinking forward. Its main objective is to ensure that the ideas of Jan Suraj, which are connected to the lives of the people of Bihar, can clearly reach every village, every street and create a deep connect with the people.
As further preparations, Prashant Kishore has said that ‘Bihar Navnirman Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be started again from January 15. Under this campaign, Jan Suraj workers will go door-to-door to help women in availing the benefits of government schemes. This will include the work of filling and submitting forms of government schemes like self-employment of Rs 10,000 or Rs 2 lakh. The objective behind this is to make government promises on important issues like education, health and migration a ground reality in Bihar.
Another surprising thing is that Prashant Kishore has decided to leave his house in Delhi and donate all his property and 90 percent of his earnings for the next five years to Jan Suraj Party. He clearly says that his aim is not just to get power, but to lay the foundation of new politics for the development of Bihar.
