Akhilesh’s ‘PDA’ bet in UP: The biggest issue of 2027 elections became caste census!

In the political battle of Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has run a new ‘Brahmastra’ for the 2027 assembly elections. His mantra is ‘PDA’, which he has described as a fight for the rights of backward, Dalits and minorities. Akhilesh directly says that if everyone has to give equal opportunity and the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is to be true, then caste census is most important.

Akhilesh Yadav clearly stated in an interview to the Frapered Journal that till we do not know which situation, which people of the society are still away from education, employment or development, how can we make the right plans till then? They believe that this census will know which people of which society are still left behind, and how to give them the real advantage of government schemes. He even said that without caste census, the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is just a pretense and a lie!

Akhilesh, while targeting the BJP directly, said that his government is benefiting only a few people at the Center and the state. He alleged that the BJP is nervous with the caste census because he is afraid that the votes of backward, Dalits and minorities may be disturbed by their hands. Akhilesh says that the BJP is wandering the public from real issues by talking about ‘culture’, ‘religion’ and ‘confusion’ only so that the poor and the underprivileged do not get their rights to their share.

Akhilesh has made it clear that if the Samajwadi Party comes to power in 2027, then the caste census will be his first priority. He is raising this issue prominently in every rally and every meeting, so that the public can be explained about its importance for the 2027 assembly elections.

Although SP is part of the ‘India’ alliance, Akhilesh also said that his party has formed alliances with big leaders in states like Bihar and Jharkhand, where Congress does not have a role. This seems to be an important part of his 2027 strategy, where he wants to make ‘PDA’ a big power not only at UP but also at the national level. Now it will be seen that this ‘PDA’ of Akhilesh and the bet of caste census turn the political air of UP in 2027.
