The electricity department has started maintenance work in areas like Aliganj, Dhandiya (ie Dadenda) and Puraniya. During this work, power supply will be disrupted in these areas for a few hours. This step has been taken to improve the power system and reduce undeclared cuts in future.
Which areas will be affected and when?
Officials have said that there will be power failure in many localities in Aliganj area. This mainly includes the area from Kundanagar to IIM Road. Some sectors of Dhandiya (Dadenda) and Puraniya will also be affected due to this maintenance work.
- How long to cut: However, the department has not yet mentioned any clear date or time, but usually such maintenance work takes place from 10 or 11 am to 2 or 3 pm. This reduction can be of 3 to 4 hours.
