Amazing theft in Vrindavan: The monkey pounced a purse filled with jewelery of 20 lakhs and cache, police found it after hours!

A very unique and amazing case has come to light from Vrindavan, a religious city in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a monkey (monkey) carried out such ‘theft’, which not only disturbed the police but also became a topic of discussion in the city. A devotee of a devotee ran away with a monkey pounced of cash and gold-silver jewelry! It will be difficult for anyone to believe this, but it is true.

What is the whole matter?

The incident is being reported on Friday evening. Bharat Bhai, a resident of Ahmedabad in Gujarat, came to Darshan, along with Mathura-Vrindavan. He was visiting the Banke Bihari temple on Friday evening after visiting him, when he planned to sit in his vehicle and drink tea. He was taking the key of his car when a mischievous monkey suddenly pounced on him and ran away with a handbag held in his hand.

Police also surprised to know the price!

Bharat Bhai was shocked to see this. That handbag was not only cash or small paper, but also kept diamond-studded gold jewelery and Rs 2.5 lakh cash worth Rs 20 lakh. When the monkey ran away with the bag, Bharat Bhai and his family shouted. On seeing this, passers -by informed the police for help.

Police started unique ‘monkey campaign’

Seeing the seriousness of the case, the police also immediately swung into action. The monkey took that bag and sat on the roof of a far away house. The police did not take long to understand that if he fights directly with the monkey, he can also throw the bag or cause damage. The police then adopted a unique strategy. They were earlier trying to tempt him with a banana and water bottle, but the monkey was not coming to their hands. In the end, the police team and the locals continued searching on the surrounding bushes and roofs for hours.

After a long time, the search operation was successful and the bag was found lying near a bush. Thankfully, all the goods from the bag – 20 lakh jewelery and 2.5 lakh cash – were recovered safely. After receiving the goods, Bharat Bhai thanked the Mathura police.

The disturbance of monkeys in Vrindavan is not new, but this ‘strange’ incident of theft of 20 lakhs has definitely become the most discussed subject.
