Shah said that getting relief at any one level does not mean that the matter is completely over. He indicated that the investigating agencies may challenge this decision in the higher court. This statement of Shah has come at a time when BJP is continuously accusing Aam Aadmi Party of corruption and AAP is calling it a political conspiracy.

It is noteworthy that Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has discharged Kejriwal and Sisodia due to lack of evidence. The court had also made some harsh comments on the functioning of the investigating agency. When Shah was asked about this, he said that the judiciary in India is independent and the government respects its decisions, but the policy of zero tolerance against corruption will continue. Shah made it clear that the agencies are doing their work with complete impartiality and the legal process is yet to reach its final stage.

After this legal victory of Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party has now become even more aggressive. Chief Minister Atishi and Sanjay Singh have directly targeted the Prime Minister and the Home Minister in a press conference. AAP says that this entire case was fake which was made at the behest of Amit Shah. Now after Shah’s reaction, it is clear that the ‘poster war’ and war of words is going to intensify in Delhi in the coming days. BJP is now preparing to take this issue afresh among the public.
