Efforts are being made to save the girl with the help of umbrella and ring-rod. About 16 rods were lowered one by one to a distance of 150 feet. After the girl got entangled in the rope, both the support and ring rod of the umbrella had to be pulled together but the attempt failed.
At present, oxygen was being supplied to the girl through a pipe in the borewell. The girl’s movements under the borewell were visible in the camera. He was seen waving his hands. His crying has also been recorded. Due to lack of space in the borewell, the girl could not be given anything to eat or drink.
