2. Vacancy Details and Eligibility
Total Posts: Approximately 1,03,769 (as per different RRB zones).
designation: Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant (Various Technical Departments), Assistant Pointsman etc.
Educational qualification: *Candidate’s 10th pass (Matriculation) It is mandatory to have.
Or ITI(NCVT/SCVT) Must have certificate.
Age Limit: 18 to 33 years (Reserved categories will get relaxation as per rules).
3. How to apply? (How to Apply)
Candidates are advised to visit the official website rrbapply.gov.in and follow the steps given below:
registration: Register your mobile number and email by clicking on the ‘Apply’ button.
Fill the form: Select your personal information, educational details and zone (RRB Zone).
Document Upload: Upload photograph, signature and SC/ST certificate (if applicable).
Fee Payment: Deposit ₹500 for General/OBC and ₹250 for SC/ST/Women/PWD online.
4. Selection Process
Selection in RRB Group D takes place in three stages:
Computer Based Test (CBT): In this, 100 questions are asked from Math, Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Lifting weights and running long runs.
Document Verification (DV) and Medical: For final selection.
5. Important instructions for the candidates
Same application: A candidate can apply for only one RRB. If there is more than one application, the form may be canceled.
Bank Details: Fill your bank details correctly as a part of the fee (₹400 or ₹250) will be refunded after appearing in the exam.
