Indian cricketers Arshdeep Singh and Smriti Mandhana have been nominated for the ICC Awards 2024 for their stellar performances. Arshdeep has received a nomination for ‘ICC Men’s T20 International Cricketer of the Year’ and Mandhana has received a nomination for ‘ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year’.

Arshdeep Singh made his mark in T20 Internationals for Indian cricket in 2024.

Smriti Mandhana: Strong performance from India’s stylish opening batsman

Smriti Mandhana made many records for the Indian women’s cricket team in 2024.

• Statistics:
  • 743 runs in 12 innings at an average of 61.91 and strike rate of 96.99.
  • Also showed all-round performance by taking one wicket.
• Important innings:
  • She was the ‘Player of the Series’ after scoring 343 runs against South Africa in June.
  • At the end of the year, she was in excellent form by scoring two centuries against New Zealand and Australia.
  • He scored a century and took an important wicket against South Africa to help India win by four wickets.
