‘Bahurupiya’ Statement in UP Politics: After the Lok Sabha elections, the politics of Uttar Pradesh continues to continue in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. In this sequence, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongman and former MLA Sangeet Som has made a very sharp and controversial attack on Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav. Sangeet Som has alleged that Akhilesh Yadav has repeatedly changed his thoughts and political prunctions for votes, stating Akhilesh Yadav as “Bahurupiya” (who changes his words).
This statement of Sangeet Som is directly related to the changing stand with Akhilesh Yadav’s ‘Ram Mandir’. He said, “Till a few days ago, Akhilesh Yadav used to say that the Ram temple has not been soul-prestige and he is a fictional Ram. Today the same Akhilesh Yadav not only sent his party MLAs to Ayodhya to see Ramlala, but he himself is going to go to the temple with his supporters.” Som raised the question that when he got votes in elections, why did he remember Ram? It states that they are becoming ‘polymorphic’ to throw dust in the public’s eyes.
Sangeet Som also targeted that the SP formed an alliance with such a Congress party in the election, which has only 40 seats. He alleged that he had selfishness behind this alliance, so that the vote of Muslims could be gathered on one side. His indication was clear that Akhilesh would never hesitate to change his ideology to win the election.
This statement can intensify the political tussle in UP. The BJP is in the attacking currency on the SP, while the SP is also constantly trying to strengthen its growing support base. This is likely to increase political rhetoric and increasing in the coming times.
