Balaghat, 30 March (Hindustan Reporter). The political battle of Lok Sabha elections has now reached the house of Munjare couple. BSP candidate from Balaghat Lok Sabha constituency and former MP Kankar Munjare has bluntly advised his wife Anubha Munjare, an MLA from Congress, to leave the house by April 19 and live somewhere else.

BSP candidate Kankar Munjare said in a press conference on Saturday that I have told my wife Anubha Munjare that if she wants to campaign for Congress, then she should do it openly, but not while staying in my house. I am contesting elections, so my wife is also my opponent. If she stays in my house, she will campaign against me. If she wants, she can stay at her sister's house till April 19. If she doesn't leave the house I will leave. It is not possible for him to promote his party by staying in the same house and I for mine.

Attacking his wife, he said that since she became MLA, why has she not raised the issue of sand in the district? Why is she not raising her voice on BJP's unfulfilled promise of purchasing paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal, wheat at Rs 2700 per quintal and giving gas cylinder at Rs 450 from farmers? This means that they have some setting.

Kankar said that when Congress made Samrat Singh Sarswar its candidate, many Congress MLAs including Anubha reached Delhi demanding change of ticket and pointed out the shortcomings of Samrat. When their views were not listened to, today all the Congressmen are campaigning for Samrat, calling him a good and honest candidate, this is a joke with the voters.

There is no question of leaving home

When Congress MLA Anubha Munjare was talked about in this regard, she said that 10 months ago I had joined Congress with my son Shantanu. The party made me its candidate and the people of my area elected me as MLA. In such a situation, should my loyalty be towards my party or not? There is no question of leaving home. Along with being a public representative, I am also the wife of Kankar Munjare. Leave it till the elections, I can't leave my house even for a day.
