News India Live, Digital Desk: If you remember the days of fodder scam in Bihar politics, then one name will definitely come to mind. ‘Guddu Baba’This is the same person who once gave sleepless nights to big leaders through RTI and petitions, And now, in the beginning of 2026, Guddu Baba is active again, This time again their target is Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family,
The matter is in posh area of Patna. ‘Kautilya Nagar’ Is of. And as soon as Guddu Baba wrote a letter to Bihar Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha, the murmur in the political circles has intensified.
What is there in the letter after all?
Actually, Guddu Baba has alleged that there is a house or plot named ‘MP-16’ in Kautilya Nagar, which has been allotted by ignoring the rules. He claims that this allocation has not been taken in the name of any trust or social work, but by using influence. The gesture is clearly towards Lalu Yadav.
Guddu Baba has directly demanded from the Deputy CM that this allocation should be investigated. He says that the layers of how government land was distributed should be revealed.
Why did Lalu family’s tension increase?
It is not just a matter of a piece of land. It is a matter of timing and government. Currently, there is an NDA government in Bihar and Vijay Sinha, besides being the Deputy CM, is also a firebrand leader of BJP. If this letter is not put on the back burner and the files are opened, a new legal trouble may arise for the Lalu family. Anyway, the Yadav family is already facing the investigating agencies in the Land for Job case.
Guddu Baba’s ‘track record’ is scary
It is also a matter of concern for Lalu Yadav that the one complaining is ‘Guddu Baba’. This is the same Yogendra Rai alias Guddu Baba, whose Public Interest Litigation (PIL) played a big role in the fodder scam. Now if he is after the land of Kautilya Nagar, then obviously he must have made complete preparations.
At present, all eyes are on Vijay Sinha to see what action he takes on this letter. Will bulldozers run in Patna or will investigation start in the files? Whatever be the case, the welcome of the new year is proving to be a bit ‘bitter’ for Lalu Yadav.
