UP T20 League, Bhuvneshwar Kumar: Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is currently playing in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League. Playing for Lucknow Falcons, Bhuvneshwar performed brilliantly against Kashi Rudraraj on 6 September. He bowled brilliantly in this match and gave only four runs in four overs. He also bowled a brilliant over. However, he did not manage to take any wicket. Due to Bhuvneshwar's brilliant bowling, Kashi's team could score only 111 runs. In the match, Lucknow's batsmen achieved the target by losing one wicket.
In the match against Kashi, Bhuvneshwar gave only two runs in the first two overs. While bowling with him, Abhinandan Singh gave 18 runs in two overs. In such a situation, Lucknow captain Priyam Garg allowed his most experienced bowler to bowl again. Bhuvneshwar did not disappoint the captain by giving one maiden in two overs and only 2 runs in the second over. Due to this, Kashi's team could score only 23 runs in the powerplay. Bhuvneshwar's excellent bowling benefited his fellow bowlers Abhinandan and Kishan Kumar Singh. Both were successful in taking three wickets each. Abhinandan scored 31 runs while Kishan sent the batsmen to the pavilion after scoring just 11 runs. Three batsmen were run out. Lucknow achieved the target in 13.5 overs on the basis of Samarth Singh's 55 runs and Vipraaj Nigam's 26 runs. Lucknow's only wicket fell in the form of Parth Palawat.
Currently, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is out of the Indian cricket team. He last played for India in the semi-final match of the T20 World Cup in November 2022. However, Bhuvneshwar has made great records in his T20 career. He took 299 wickets in the T20 format at an economy of 7.30. Bhuvneshwar is the fifth most economical bowler among all the bowlers who have taken 250 wickets in the T20 format.
