Big action by yogi government: In Uttar Pradesh, the RTO i.e. revolving the office of the Transport Department is not considered less than a headache. Long lines, complicated process and gathering of brokers – this is the experience that almost every common man passes. But now, the Yogi Adityanath government has taken a huge and tough step to fit the entire system.
The government performed “big surgery” in the Transport Department in one stroke 11 Divisional Transport Officers (RTO) and 24 Assistant Divisional Transport Officers (ARTO) A total of 35 officers have been transferred.
So what does this mean and what will be the effect on you?
This is not just a routine transfer. When the authorities are sent from one place to another on such a large scale, there is a clear message of the government behind it.
1. To improve working style:
Often, staying in the same place for a long time causes lethargy to the work of the authorities. The purpose of sending new officers to a new place is to fill new energy in offices and improve the way to work.
2. Corruption and ‘system’ rein in:
It is not hidden from anyone that an entire network of brokers works in RTO offices. The transfer on such a large scale is considered a big attempt to break this network and curb corruption.
3. Better facility for the public:
The ultimate goal of this entire reshuffle is the same – providing better and transparent facilities to the common people. The government wants to ensure that people do not have to worry unnecessarily for the work of making driving license, registering the vehicle or taking a fitness certificate.
This change has been made in almost every corner of the state including big cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Varanasi. Now it has to be seen how many these new officials meet the expectations of the public. But one thing is certain that the Yogi government has given a strict message that negligence and lethargy will no longer be tolerated in the Transport Department.
