News India Live, Digital Desk: Today is 14th December (Sunday), and tomorrow i.e. 15 December 2025, Monday The day is going to be very special for you. If you have been trying to succeed in some work for a long time and it is not working out, then understand that this fast of ‘Saphala Ekadashi’ has come for you only.
As the name implies ‘Success’ That means one who gives success in every work. This Krishna Paksha Ekadashi of Paush month is considered very miraculous in the scriptures. So, without wasting any time, let us know what you have to do tomorrow and when to break your fast, in very simple language.
Do not have any confusion regarding the date
This time the date is very clear. Saphala Ekadashi fast for all, householders (common family members) and Vaishnav people. Tomorrow, Monday (15 December 2025) Only will be kept. Therefore, do not get involved in trivial matters and prepare for the puja tomorrow morning.
Why is this day special?
There is a religious belief that the person who worships Lord Narayana (Vishnu ji) with a true heart on the day of Saphala Ekadashi, the failures in his life start ending. It is said that the result of doing penance for 5000 years is the same result that one gets from the devotion of this one day.
There is no “shortcut” to worship, faith is needed.
If you are fasting tomorrow, then keep these things in mind:
- Abstain from rice: Leave alone cooking rice tomorrow, don’t even let anyone in the house eat it. In the scriptures, eating rice on Ekadashi is strictly prohibited.
- Enjoyment of yellow things: Lord Vishnu likes yellow color very much. Make sure to offer bananas, gram flour laddus or yellow flowers in the puja tomorrow.
- Pooja is incomplete without Tulsi: While offering to Lord Vishnu, keep ‘Tulsi Dal’, otherwise the offering is not accepted. (Remember: pluck basil leaves and keep them on 14th day itself, basil is not plucked on the day of Ekadashi).
- Preparation from this evening itself: According to the rules, the fast of Ekadashi starts from the evening of Dashami (i.e. today). Eat light food tonight and sleep with your teeth clenched so that your face does not remain empty tomorrow.
Right time to break the fast (Parana Time)
Remember, as important as it is to keep the fast, breaking it at the right time is even more important. If you eat food at the wrong time, the fast is considered broken.
- Fast day: 15 December 2025 (Monday)
- Time of breaking the fast (Paran): 07:07 am to 09:11 am on 16th December (Tuesday).
You have to break your fast between these 2 hours. It is considered most auspicious to break the fast with any satvik fruit or water containing basil.
What if you can’t keep the fast?
Many times it is not possible to keep fast in our busy life. Even if you can’t stay hungry, don’t worry. Just don’t lie tomorrow, don’t speak ill of anyone, and eat satvik food (without onion-garlic) at home. Also, in my mind “Invocation and Obeisance to Lord Krishna” Keep chanting the mantra. God is hungry for feelings!
So get ready for this auspicious day tomorrow. I wish that all your wishes be fulfilled.
