News India Live, Digital Desk: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released admit cards for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEDO) under the Agriculture Department. The wait of the candidates preparing for the exam is now over. The Commission has clarified that this recruitment process will be conducted in a single phase, which is no less than a boon for those youth who were afraid of the long interview process. Candidates can download their call letter by visiting the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in or onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Single Phase Exam: Selection will be done directly through Merit.

The biggest feature of this recruitment is its ‘single phase’ exam pattern. Generally BPSC examinations have multiple stages of Prelims, Mains and Interview, but for the posts of AE-DO the Commission has decided to make the selection on the basis of a written examination only. There will be no interview in this. This means that the marks obtained by you in the written examination will be the key to your success. It is mandatory for candidates to carry a valid photo identity card (like Aadhar Card or PAN Card) along with their admit card before visiting the examination centre.

How to download your call letter?

To download the admit card, candidates have to follow some simple steps. First of all, go to the official website of Bihar Public Service Commission and click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab. Login there by entering your user name and password. As soon as the dashboard opens, you will see the option to download ‘Admit Card’. Keep in mind that the photo and signature given on the admit card should be clear, otherwise there may be a problem in entering the examination center.

These rules will have to be followed at the examination center

The Commission has issued strict guidelines for the examination. Candidates must reach the center at least one hour before the commencement of the examination. There is a complete ban on carrying any kind of electronic gadget, Bluetooth device or smart watch. Examination centers have been set up in various district headquarters of Bihar. Candidates have been advised to read the ‘Important Instructions’ mentioned on the admit card carefully so that they do not face any problem at the last moment.
