State spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Neeraj Kumar Defending the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, he said that during the NDA rule, Bihar has got the respect and resources which the UPA government had deprived it of for decades.
Neeraj Kumar tried to prove through statistics that Bihar is at the center of PM Modi’s ‘Purvodaya’ vision and that a major ‘infrastructure revolution’ has taken place in the state in the last 10 years.

The BJP spokesperson presented the following figures comparing the central assistance received by Bihar during the Manmohan Singh government and the Modi government:

Women empowerment and public welfare schemes
Talking about the government’s activism before the assembly elections, he made special mention of ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana’:
Jeevika Didis: Under this scheme, there is a provision to give immediate cash assistance of ₹ 10,000 to women and later loan up to ₹ 2 lakh.
Health: 4 crore people of Bihar are getting benefits under Ayushman Bharat scheme, which has resulted in saving of more than ₹1,000 crore for their treatment.
Agriculture: Initiatives like PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Makhana Board have helped in increasing the income of farmers.
What are the expectations from Budget 2026?
Bihar is expected to get special concessions from Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman this time too. Neeraj Kumar expressed confidence that Modi government’s ‘Everybody’s company will help in everybody’s growth’ Mantra will open doors to new schemes for Bihar in this budget also.
