News is coming that Bihar government has decided to include two such vehicles (Caravans) in its fleet, which are no less than a five star hotel. These special types of vans are being prepared in Chandigarh and can soon be seen running on the roads of Bihar.
Not just a car, call it a ‘mobile home’!
These vehicles are called ‘caravan’ in common language. But the facilities it has are really shocking. It is being told that inside this one vehicle there will be everything that a person needs in his home.
Just imagine, you are going on a long journey and have to rest in between. For this one luxurious bedroom Is. If you feel hungry, then cook food. Why were they needed after all?
Now you must be wondering why the government is spending so much money and bringing such vehicles? In fact, during election tours or inspection of floods and droughts, the Chief Minister or ministers have to go to remote villages (Rural Areas). Many times good guest houses or hotels are not available to stay there.
In such a situation, these ‘caravans’ will be very useful. The leader will be able to spend the night in his car, have food and after freshening up, he will be able to start work again. This can be a smart way to save time.
Why only Chandigarh?
Chandigarh and Punjab are famous all over India for manufacturing such luxury vans or ‘Vanity Vans’. Big stars of Bollywood get their vanity vans customized from there. Therefore, Bihar Government has also placed the order to Chandigarh for reliable quality.
The thing to be seen is that when these hi-tech vehicles will hit the roads of Bihar, what will be the reaction of the general public. Will this be considered as ‘speed of development’ or a new example of ‘VIP culture’?
