On Monday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the first phase of Patna Metro Rail Project. With this, a new round of fast and comfortable journey has started in your capital. Now tomorrow, i.e. from October 7, you will also be able to travel in it and you will be able to be a part of the changing picture of Patna. Currently, ISBT (which will now be called New Pataliputra bus terminal) on the metro red line will run from Bhootnath. It will have three stations – ISBT, Zero Mile and Bhootnath. Trial runs have already been successful, so now everything is ready to serve you. If you want to travel to a station only, the minimum fare will be Rs 15. And if you have to go from ISBT to Bhootnath, then you have to pay 30 rupees for this. According to the present arrangement, there will be three coaches in a metro train, and when it is fully operational, then around 900 passengers will be able to travel in it. That is, a coach will have a place for about 300 people. Metro is not just a journey of a journey, but it will also show the glory of Bihar. Apart from your special Madhubani painting on its trains, you will also get to see the artifacts of famous places like Golghar, Mahabodhi Temple and Mahavir Temple. This shows how our state is moving towards modernity even by being connected to its roots. This entire metro project is estimated to cost around Rs 13,590 crore, which is really going to give the city a new speed. On the occasion of the inauguration, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar himself also participated in the first visit of the Metro. This is a really historic day for Patna, so that the journey of the people will now become faster, convenient and pollution free than before.
