In Haryana, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed District Presidents. This time a total of 27 district presidents have been appointed in 22 districts of the state. This is the first time 5 additional district heads have been announced. The party leadership believes that this strategy will help further strengthen the organization.

According to the notification issued on Monday:
- Panchkula – Ajay Mittal
- Ambala (Anil Vij’s stronghold) – Mandeep Rana
- Yamunanagar – Rajesh Sapra
- Kurukshetra – Sardar Tejendra Goldi
- Kaithal – Jyoti Saini (Women Leader)
- Karnal – Praveen Lather
- Panipat – Dushyant Bhatt
- Sonipat – Ashok Bhardwaj
- Gohana – Bijendra Malik
New districts were created to strengthen the organization
The BJP created 5 new districts from organizational terms, including:
- Hansi (different from Hisar)
- Gohana (separate from Sonipat)
- Dabwali (separated from Sirsa)
- Ballabhgarh (separate from Faridabad)
- Pataudi (different from Gurugram)
The party believes that it was necessary to constitute new districts to run organizational work in densely populated districts like Gurugram, Sonepat, Faridabad. The division of large districts like Sirsa and Hisar will strengthen the party’s grip locally. Earlier, the BJP adopted this strategy by appointing metropolitan presidents with district heads in cities like Ghaziabad, Noida, Kanpur and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
Priority to OBC society, Sikh leader is also very responsible
This time OBC society has been given special priority.
- Many leaders from Gurjar, Saini and Jat community have been appointed as District President.
- The command of Kurukshetra is handed over to Sardar Tejendra Goldi, who belongs to the Sikh community.
The move is being seen as a strategy to maintain social balance and connect various communities to the party. This organizational change of BJP has been made keeping in mind the upcoming elections, so that the party’s grip can be strengthened at the local level.
