BSNL has launched a low cost monthly plan. In this plan, unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day and 2.5 GB internet data is available for ₹ 225. This new monthly plan of BSNL comes with a validity of 30 days.
While companies like Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea offer monthly plans with 28 days validity, BSNL’s plan with 30 days validity is beneficial for the users.
BSNL offers more validity of about 24 days compared to private telecom companies. After launching its 4G network across the country last month, BSNL is continuously offering cheap plans.
The new monthly plan will provide 2.5GB data per day. With this, users will get a total of 75GB data. This will be 4G data. If the 5G internet speed of Airtel or Jio is low in your area, then using BSNL’s 4G speed can prove beneficial.
BSNL’s indigenous 4G stack can be easily upgraded to 5G. It is cloud-based and future-proof. This means that the transition to 5G will happen through a software update, and will not require any major hardware changes.
Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has also said that it can be easily upgraded to 5G. This means that 5G will also be ready soon after the launch of 4G.
