News India Live, Digital Desk: This time something has happened in the election atmosphere of Bihar which is surprising everyone. In the fourth phase of elections, especially in seats like Ujiarpur and Begusarai, people broke all records of voting. By 5 pm itself, more than 55% of the votes had been cast, and seeing the way people were coming out to vote, it seemed that something was really going to be different this time.
Why did such a crowd gather suddenly?
Political experts believe that a major reason behind this record breaking voting could be the influence of “SIR”. “SIR” stands for – Son of India, Rajesh Ranjan, whom we all know as Pappu Yadav. Pappu Yadav’s wife Ranjit Ranjan is a Congress candidate and Pappu Yadav worked day and night for her. It is being said that his emotional appeals have had a deep impact on the people.
On the other hand, a similar atmosphere was seen in Begusarai also. The enthusiasm of the people for CPI candidate Awadhesh Rai from here was also worth seeing. It seemed that people were not just voting, but were giving their full support for a change.
What do the figures say?
The most special thing about this time’s elections was that long queues were seen at the polling booths since morning. By afternoon the voting percentage had exceeded that of many previous elections. People also participated enthusiastically in areas like Darbhanga, Samastipur, and Munger.
Seeing this huge turnout, everyone is now guessing which side the camel will sit on. Is it in support of one party or against the other? This will be known only after the results come, but one thing is clear that this time the people of Bihar have made up their mind and have openly raised their voice.
