According to a report published by a major news organization, representatives of India’s leading industrial group Adani Group recently met top officials of the administration of US President Donald Trump and requested to dismiss criminal allegations against Gautam Adani, president of the group in a bribery case in India.
This report has been published quoting sources associated with this incident. The report further states that such presentations were launched earlier this year and the recent presentation process has been expedited. As a result, the possibility of a final decision to be taken in this regard in the coming months cannot be ruled out. Representatives of the Adani Group argue that the allegations against the Adani Group do not suit Trump’s favorite policies. Therefore these allegations should be dismissed. It is noteworthy that in April, Adani Green Energy said that the allegations against the Adani group in the US were investigated by an independent review group and according to the findings of this review, the Adani group has not violated any irregularity or rules.
