Cabinet approval for cannabis cultivation in Himachal Pradesh, robotic surgery will be held in three medical colleges

Himachal in cannabis farming: Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu government of Himachal Pradesh has taken a big decision on Friday (24 January). Cannabis cultivation has been officially approved by the cabinet. Along with this, it has been decided to change the name of Degree College in Rohru to King Virbhadra Singh Government Degree College.

Major Cabinet decisions

The cabinet has also approved the home stay policy in Himachal Pradesh. 7 lakh rupees will be given for a house destroyed by fire in Tandi in Kullu district. 1 lakh for partially burnt house and 50 thousand rupees for cowshed. Along with this, it has also been approved to buy 24 new VS6 Volvo buses.

Admitted to Fisheries Department

The government has given permission to purchase machines for robotic surgery at IGMC Hospital, TMC and Chamiana. Apart from this, the recruitment of 28 posts and 9 Block Development Officers has been approved in the fisheries department.

The Sukhu government has also approved the purchase of 50 Bolero vehicles for the PWD department. Along with this, it has been allowed to buy 100 bikes for field inspectors in Excise Vibha.
