News India Live, Digital Desk: A 53 -year -old man was arrested after hitting several pedestrians from his car in the center of Liverpool city during the Premier League victory parade. What happened?
According to the Mercyside police, Just after 18:00 BST, a car hit several pedestrians on water street, causing chaos and panic. After the car stopped at the scene, a 53 -year -old male driver from Liverpool was arrested. This tragic incident is not considered related to terrorism and it is being said that the driver of the car was alone.
Number of injured people
The ambulance service, which arrived at the scene in a few minutes, said that 27 people were injured and were rushed to the hospital for treatment, out of which two people were seriously injured. One of the two seriously injured people is said to be a child. In addition, 20 other people injured were treated at the scene itself, causing the total number of injured to about 50.

Water Street is near Strand in Liverpool, England, where Liverpool FC paraded the Premier League Trophy from the roof of the bus. A large number of people came out to celebrate Liverpool’s victory and the incident occurred about one mile before the concluding point of the parade.
