News India Live, Digital Desk: The bugle of the assembly elections to be held in Bihar in 2025 is not yet played, but political pieces are being laid on the seats within the NDA. After winning the five seats with 100% strike rate in the Lok Sabha elections, the confident Chirag Paswan’s party LJP (Ram Vilas) has now started submitting its claim for the assembly. The party is eyeing two important seats- Paru and Sakra, especially in Muzaffarpur district.
Chirag on tour of Tirhut-Mithilanchal, strong land
Chirag Paswan is currently on ‘Tirhut-Mithilanchal Yatra’, which aims to further strengthen his land before the election and to get a new enthusiasm among the workers. During this visit, his party has expressed its intention to contest these two seats in Muzaffarpur, which has intensified discussions about seat sharing within the NDA.
Why are these two seats special?
The two seats that LJP (R) claimed has their own political equation:
- Paru Assembly seat: Interestingly, this seat is currently under BJP’s possession. Ashok Kumar Singh is a BJP MLA from here. In such a situation, this claim of LJP can make the seat -sharing interaction within the NDA interesting.
- Sakra (safe) assembly seat: This seat is currently with the Congress and Munna Kumar is an MLA from here. The NDA would like to snatch this seat from the Congress and LJP is looking at its strong claim here.
The party said- ‘Our preparation in both seats complete’
LJP (R) District President Shambhu Kumar Singh has also confirmed this. He says that the party is fully prepared to contest both these seats and has been put in front of the high command.
It is clear from this move of Chirag Paswan that he wants a strong stake within the NDA in the assembly elections like the Lok Sabha. Even though there is more than a year in the election, the LJP has already cleared its intentions by stucking the claims on the seats of its choice. Now it will be seen how the synergy is between the NDA allies at the time of seat sharing.
