News India Live, Digital Desk: Now cold has started showing its ‘monstrous form’ in Jharkhand. For the last one or two days, the state, especially the capital Ranchi, has been wrapped in a blanket of dense fog. The view in the morning is as if you are at a hill station, but this beauty has become a problem for the travelers. Due to fog, the speed of traffic has slowed down from road to sky.
Air travelers be careful!
If you are thinking of going somewhere by flight today or tomorrow or are coming to Ranchi, then definitely check the status of your flight before leaving home. Due to dense fog and poor visibility, air services at Birsa Munda Airport have been badly affected.
It is reported that visibility has become so low that the pilot is finding it difficult to see the runway. Due to this, flights of many companies including IndiGo have either Canceled Had to do so or were diverted. Flights coming from Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore have been most affected. Passengers have to wait for hours at the airport, due to which they are facing a lot of trouble.

According to Meteorological Center Ranchi, there is little hope of relief right now. The weather is going to remain cold till 25th December (Christmas).
- There will be dense fog in the morning.
- The sky will remain clear but Shivering cold will increase due to winds.
- The mercury is likely to fall further by the end of the year.
A little advice:
If you are driving on the highway, then definitely use fog lights and keep the speed slow. The cold is increasing, so go out of the house only wearing warm clothes.
