The controversy has deepened over the controversial statement made by Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ramji Lal Suman on Rajput ruler Rana Sanga. He alleged that Rana Sanga had invited Babur to attack India, which was strongly opposed by leaders of BJP and other parties.
Former BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had talked about the soul of demon Guru Shukracharya on SP leaders, while Kunda MLA Raja Bhaiya (Raghuraj Pratap Singh) also strongly criticized the statement.
Raja Bhaiya’s retaliation: Rewriting of history is necessary
Raja Bhaiya reacted on social media and wrote that Ramji Lal Suman’s comment is beyond truth and very painful for nationalists. They said,
“Rana Sangram Singh (Rana Sanga) fought several wars and won to protect the nation and religion. He had more than 80 wounds on his body, lost an eye and one hand, but there was not a single wound on his back. It is condemnable to call such greats to such greats.”
Questions raised on Aurangzeb’s glorification
Raja Bhaiya also said that today it is the misfortune of the country that some people are glorifying a cruel ruler like Aurangzeb and are competing to make their own great greats look small. they wrote,
“Aurangzeb imprisoned his father, murdered his brothers and fed their bodies to dogs. People who want such terrorists are destroying the pride of their own history. Now the time has come to rewrit and bring out the truth.”
Political pride continues
After Ramji Lal Suman’s statement, the leaders of BJP and other parties accused the SP of doing politics of appeasement. Political rhetoric on this issue has intensified, and it can also become a big subject in the upcoming elections.
