Earlier in April, foreign investors had withdrawn Rs 24,384 crore from the date market. At the same time, in 2025, there has been a net foreign investment of Rs 36,648 crore in the date market.
The performance of India’s economy remains strong. The country’s GDP growth rate increased to 7.4 percent in the fourth quarter (January-March period) of FY 2024-25. It was 6.2 percent in the third quarter of FY 25.
