Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: Indian Railways has brought a big good news for those who often travel from Bihar to Delhi. Very soon the country’s most modern and comfortable Vande Bharat sleeper train is going to run on this route. According to the Railways, if everything goes well, this train will start providing its services between Delhi and Patna from the end of this month, i.e. December.

This train is being manufactured in the BEML factory in Bengaluru. Its two coach sets (racks) are almost ready, work on one of which has also been completed. It is reported that the first rake will leave Bengaluru on December 12, after which it will be run on the Delhi-Patna route for trial.

This train will be available 6 days a week

This new Vande Bharat sleeper train will run 6 days a week, just like the current Vande Bharat Express chair car trains run. This train from Patna will leave around Tejas Rajdhani Express in the evening and will reach Delhi the next morning. In return also, its time will be kept close to Tejas capital, so that people can get ease of commuting.

What will this train be like from inside?

There will be a total of 16 coaches (coaches) in this train and it will have sleeping arrangements (berths) for 827 people including First AC, Second AC and Third AC. There will be 11 coaches of third AC, 4 coaches of second AC and 1 coach of first AC. The doors of the train will open and close automatically. Also, it will have bio-toilets, CCTV cameras everywhere, reading lights and very comfortable seats.

This train is also very advanced in terms of safety. It is designed to run at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. It is fitted with ‘Kavach’ system, which prevents two trains from colliding with each other. Additionally, its structure is also crash-proof, so that in case of any accident, there is minimal loss to the passengers. The officials of Danapur Railway Division are busy in preparations to start this train by the end of this month.
