CSK captain Rituraj Gaikwad on the target of fans, the statement created a ruckus

Why CSK team lost the match?

After the match, Rituraj Gaikwad said, “I still think there was 170 good score on this pitch.” Batting was not easy, but we had to face defeat due to poor fielding. You get a little longer when you are chasing 170 runs. But if the target is 20 runs more then you will have to play differently in the powerplay. Today we could not do this. The pitch was slow and sticky, due to which the new ball was not coming on the bat properly. When you know that you want to make 20 runs more than the target, you want to play fast. But in the end we did not lose by a huge margin, we only lost by 50 runs. Now we have to travel long to Guwahati but we have to be mentally prepared. We have to see what things can be improved. The most important thing that needs improvement is field reservation and we have to make a strong comeback in this department.

Let us tell you that in this match, the RCB team batted first and scored 196 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. But in response, Chennai Super Kings could only manage 146 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Due to which he had to face defeat by 50 runs.
