Under this, people running car, auto and bike taxis will be able to register. The entire profit from this will be given directly to the driver and no commission will be taken from it. It is noteworthy that Amit Shah also has the Ministry of Cooperation and gave this information in Parliament in response to a question related to it. He said, ‘Till now the commission from such taxi services used to go into the hands of rich people and the drivers lived unemployed. Now this will not happen and the cooperative revolution will begin.
Cooperative taxi service will start in a few months
According to the Union Minister, ‘The slogan of prosperity from cooperatives is not just the slogan, but we have applied it to the ground.’ A cooperative taxi service is scheduled to begin in a few months. Along with this, a cooperative insurance company will also be established soon. It will soon become the largest insurance company in the country. Taxi drivers who partner with companies like Uber and Ola have to pay a part of their earnings. For this, membership fee has to be paid and the driver has to pay a certain commission on each visit.
The arrival of cooperative taxi services can lead to a major improvement in the transport system in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow, Patna, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Till now people have to depend on taxi services like Ola and Uber. In the initial stages, drivers used to benefit greatly from these taxi services, but now companies have increased their commission. In such a situation, the share of drivers in profits from taxi services has reduced considerably.
