BJP (BJP) has made very serious allegations against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav. BJP says that Tejashwi Yadav has abolished the political career of his elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav, and he has also politically ‘imprisoned’ his father Lalu Yadav in a way.
A BJP spokesperson, Nikhil Anand, has compared Tejashwi Yadav to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. He alleges that Tejashwi Yadav has tried to grab the political heritage and political ambitions of the family as Lalu Yadav’s son. These allegations are being made because for some time, reports of sourness inside the Lalu family have been continuously coming out. It is being said that Tejashwi has gradually lagged behind Tej Pratap in politics.
The matter was further heated when there were reports of a rift in Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family in 2017 and the CBI also filed new cases against him. Since then, there is a lot of happiness in the political corridors that Tej Pratap, who is the elder son of Lalu Yadav, did not get the role in the party and the government that he probably expecting. It has often been seen that Tejashwi Yadav has been considered as the real political heir of Lalu Yadav, and he gets the most prominence.
The BJP spokesperson said in his statement, “Tejashwi Yadav has emerged as a new ‘Aurangzeb’ in the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).” He alleged that Tej Pratap’s ‘violation of political life’ has been done by Tejashwi, and even an attempt has been made to make Lalu Yadav politically irrelevant. According to the BJP, this is not just a family fight, but an attempt to completely capture the RJD, in which other family members (eg Tej Pratap) are being deliberately pushed back.
Political experts believe that such allegations not only strengthens the news of discord in the family, but the opposition parties also get a big opportunity to attack the RJD. Now it has to be seen what the Lalu family and RJD respond to these allegations and whether it affects the party in the upcoming elections to the upcoming elections.
