Winter session of Parliament: The winter session of the Indian Parliament will be slightly shorter this time. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has recently given this information. According to him, this session will start from December 1 and continue till December 19. President Draupadi Murmu has approved it. The minister said that this session will further strengthen democracy and fulfill the expectations of the people.

This session is shorter than the last few sessions. For example, the winter session in 2013 was only 14 days long, running from December 5 to December 18. This time, the budget session will also start immediately after the session ends, so it has been kept short.

The main focus of the government will be on passing some important laws. These include major bills like the Public Trust Bill and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Bill. Apart from this, the issue of Bihar Assembly elections can also be the center of discussion in this session. Additionally, the SIR process is underway in 12 states and union territories, which the opposition is likely to oppose.

Earlier the monsoon session ran from July 21 to August 21. A total of 21 meetings were held in this. On the very first day of that session, the then Chairman of Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankhar had resigned. In the last session, there was a lot of uproar on issues like SIR and Operation Sindoor. In this, 15 bills were passed in Rajya Sabha and 12 in Lok Sabha.

Heated debates are expected on various issues in this session. There may be a heated debate between the government and the opposition, which will impact the politics of the country. People hope that this session will be useful and fruitful.
