[ad_1]

Post

If you also work on outsourced in a government department of Uttar Pradesh, ie ‘contract’, then this news is very important for you. Often the biggest concern and complaint of outsourced employees is that they do not know how much salary the government actually sets for their posts, and how much money the contractor or agency is giving them.

Many times the agencies eat the money of the rights of the employees and they do not even know. But now this will not happen. You can check for yourself how much minimum salary the government has fixed for you according to your ability and work, so that no one can exploit you by giving you less money.

Let us understand the complete mathematics of salary in easy language:

The Uttar Pradesh government divides outsourced employees in four categories on the basis of work and merit. A minimum salary has been fixed for each category.

1. unskilled workers (UNSKILLED)
In this category, employees who do not require any special training for work.

  • Example: Peon, Chowkidar, Mali, Helper, Clean worker etc.
  • There is a salary set by the government for these posts, out of which money comes to your account after EPF and ESI are cut.

2. Semi-skilled worker (semi-skilled)
In this category, employees who have some experience and skills of their work.

  • Example: Driver, Electrician Helper, Plumber Helper, etc.
  • Their salary is slightly higher than unskilled employees.

3. Skilled Workers (Skilled)
These are employees who have mastered their work or have a special certificate/diploma.

  • Example: Computer operator, stenographer, skilled artisan, nurse etc.
  • Their salary is even better.

4. Highly Skilled/Graduates
This category usually consists of employees with graduate or above qualifications, who work in a particular position.

  • Example: Accountant, Junior Engineer (Diploma), Office Assistant (Graduate) etc.
  • Their salary is the highest.

Note: EPF and ESI are your right!
Out of your total salary, deducting money from Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees State Insurance (ESI) is legally mandatory. This money is for your future. If your contractor is not deducting or not depositing this money, then he is violating the law.

So the next time you get a salary, look at your salary slip carefully and make sure that you are getting the right salary according to your ability. This is your right, be aware of it.
