News India Live, Digital Desk: We all want our house to look beautiful. For this, we plant different types of plants from drawing room to balcony. Seeing greenery gives peace to the mind, this is absolutely true. But do you know that in Vastu Shastra, there is mention of some such plants which are not considered ‘free from danger’ when planted inside the house?

Often we unknowingly bring home some such plants in the name of decoration, which are attractive in appearance, but in reality they put brakes on the prosperity of the house and the inflow of money. If there is unnecessary trouble in your house or the work is getting spoiled, then definitely take a look at your ‘home garden’.

Let us know in very simple words which plants should be avoided in the house.

1. Thorny Plants: Stinging in relationships
According to Vastu, plants which have thorns (except roses) should never be planted inside the house. Such as cactus or other ornamental thorny plants. It is believed that just as they have thorns, they create similar stings in the home environment also. This increases unnecessary arguments and tension among family members, especially between husband and wife.

2. Bonsai: Stopping progress
Nowadays, Bonsai is very fashionable. These look very lovely, but Vaastu Shastra does not support them. Bonsai is actually a tree that has been forcibly kept small, that is, its growth has been stopped. Experts say that keeping it in the house stops the growth of the head of the house and the children and brings stagnation in the career.

3. Mehandi Plant
Henna is considered auspicious for applying on hands, but planting its plant in the courtyard of the house is considered inauspicious. According to old beliefs, evil powers reside on henna and tamarind trees. These plants make the atmosphere of the house heavy, which can cause problems like fear or nightmares at night.

4. Cotton or Silk Cotton (Cotton Plant)
Even the white and beautiful cotton plant is not considered suitable for the home. According to Vastu experts, these attract ‘dust and poverty’. Keeping it in the house creates problems in accumulating wealth and the money starts going towards diseases or wasteful expenditure. It is also considered a symbol of bad luck.

5. Withered or dried flowers (Dead Plants)
Many times, even after the flowers in the vase dry, we leave them for decoration, or if a plant has died in a pot, it is not removed. This is the biggest mistake. Rotten or dry trees and plants actually spread ‘dead energy’ in the house. This can cause sadness and depression. If any leaf or flower has dried, remove it immediately.

A little advice:
Plant plants like Tulsi, Money Plant, or Bamboo in the house which provide oxygen and also positive vibes. Do enhance the beauty of the house, but take some care of Vaastu, so that both happiness and peace remain.
