Whenever there is talk of brain and wisdom, the name of Acharya Chanakya comes first. He is not only a name recorded in the pages of history, but his words are 100% true even in today’s modern era. Chanakya has said in his policies that it is not the face or clothes of a person, but his ‘Property’ Make him great.
Often we consider calm and straightforward people to be weak, but according to Chanakya, this is the biggest mistake. He has told about some such qualities of men, which if any person has, then he is not ordinary but ‘extraordinary’. No one can stop such people from reaching the top in life.
Come, let us know in very simple language about those 5 habits which make a common man great.
1. Whose patience never breaks (patience)
Chanakya says that no power in the world can defeat a man who has ‘Dhairya’ i.e. patience. This does not mean that he should remain idle. Its real meaning is- Waiting for the right time. The man who does not take hasty decisions, who does not lose his temper even in difficult times, is a horse for a long race. His calmness is not his weakness, but his strategy. Such a person has the strength to get up again after falling.
2. Always hungry to learn something new
Be it 20 or 60, the man who always remains a student is the real juggler. According to Chanakya, one who has passion for learning never becomes old or outdated. Such a person considers his own mistakes as his teacher. He is not ashamed that he does not know something, rather he is enthusiastic to learn it. This curiosity makes him more intelligent and capable than others.
3. One who does not resort to lies (honesty)
In today’s world where everyone is looking for shortcuts, being ‘honest’ is the most difficult thing. But Chanakya believed that the greatest jewel of a man is his character. People sacrifice their lives for the person who does not succumb to greed and is firm on his words. You can earn money, but you need honesty to earn ‘trust’. Such men earn respect in the society, which is more valuable than wealth.
4. One who remains calm even in storms
There will be difficulties in life, but the real ‘man’ is the one who does not get scared after seeing the trouble. Chanakya Niti says that when there is chaos all around, the person who finds the solution with a cool mind is a leader. His calm mind acts as a strong shield for his family and colleagues. Such a person becomes a ray of support and hope for others.
5. One who considers work as worship (hard work)
Even God does not give anything without hard work. According to Chanakya, a man who is not idle and does not shy away from hard work, poverty never comes to his house. Such a person does not wait for the lottery relying on luck, but writes his own luck with his hard work. The habit of continuously trying takes him miles ahead of others.
