Mirzapur, 24 October (Hindustan Reporter). There was a hectic atmosphere during the by-election of Majhwan Assembly on Thursday, the sixth day. Dr. from Samajwadi Party. Five people including Jyoti Bind and Deepak Tiwari from Bahujan Samaj Party filed nominations. Candidates also took forms on Thursday. Strict security arrangements were made in view of the nomination.

Jyoti Bind nominated in three sets. He said that health and education will be our election issues. Former MP and three-time MLA from Majhwan, his father Dr. Ramesh Bind, District President Devi Prasad Chaudhary, former MP Virendra Singh, former minister Surendra Singh Patel, former ministers Kailash Chaurasia, Jagdamba Patel etc. were present with him. After this, Bahujan Samaj Party candidate Deepak Tiwari filed nomination in two sets. He said that I have no competition with anyone. The people themselves are contesting the elections. Along with him were former Minister of State in-charge Ashok Gautam, Guddu Ram, Baijnath Gautam, District President Rajkumar Bharti, Saddam Raine. Also, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Dwivedi from NCP and Prakash Chandra Maurya from Rashtriya Janmat Party filed their nomination. Independent candidate Ram Lakhan also filed his nomination in the second set on Thursday.

With this, a total of four people filed their nominations on Thursday, so far a total of nine candidates have filed their nominations. On the fifth day of the by-election, independent Ram Vilas, Samaj Vikas Kranti Party Radhika Singh, Indian National Samaj Party Priya Singh, Pragatisheel Manav Samaj Party Swayamvar and independent Ram Lakhan had filed nominations.

Three including Suchismita Maurya took form from BJP

Former Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Suchismita Maurya took the nomination form on Thursday for the by-election of Majhwan Assembly. Along with this, a total of three forms were taken from Azad Samaj Party including Shambhunath Maurya and independent Anil Kumar Bind. So far, a total of 33 people have taken nomination forms for the by-election in the district.
