What is Territorial Army?
Territorial Army is a part of the Indian Army, but it is a volunteer force. This means that common citizens, who are working in their respective fields, can take training as a soldier and can be called to serve the country when needed. This is a part-time service, not a full-time job.

This is a direct rally recruitment, for which you do not have to fill any online form. You just have to reach the recruitment center on the scheduled date as per your qualification and state.
The rally schedule for different states is as follows:
- Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand: The recruitment rally for the youth of these states will be organized between 15 November to 14 December 2025.
- Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Telangana, Goa and Union Territories: The rally for these places will run from November 15 to December 1, 2025.
- Delhi and Haryana: The rally for the youth here will be organized between 28 November to 10 December 2025.
Who can be included in this recruitment? (Ability)
Some general qualifications have been fixed for joining this recruitment:
- Educational qualification: For the post of Soldier (General Duty), the candidate must have passed 10th with at least 45% marks.
- Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 18 years to 42 years.
How will the selection be done? (selection process)
The selection process is divided into two stages:
- First Step: When you go to the rally, first of all you will have a physical fitness test (running, pull-ups etc.) and medical examination.
- Second step: The candidates who qualify the first stage will be called for written examination. There will also be negative marking in this exam.
The final merit list of the candidates who successfully clear both the stages will be prepared.
Don’t forget to carry these documents while going to the rally.
