News India Live, Digital Desk: Bihar Elections: The murmur within the NDA alliance regarding seat sharing in Bihar politics has intensified. Amidst the discussion on seat coordination for the upcoming elections, ‘HAM’ (Hindustani Awam Morcha) supremo Jitan Ram Manjhi has openly expressed his ‘unhappiness’, while Upendra Kushwaha has also given his reaction on this issue, which is indicating some increasing tension within the alliance.

Why is Jitan Ram Manjhi unhappy?

According to the information, Jitan Ram Manjhi is not satisfied with the number of seats allotted to his party in NDA. Talking to the media, he said that he is ‘not happy’ with this seat distribution. According to Manjhi, the seats that ‘Hum’ party is getting are not in accordance with the influence and capacity of his party. His rhetoric shows how challenging it can be to keep smaller parties happy for the bigger alliance partners like BJP and JDU. He wants his party to get more respectable seats.

Upendra Kushwaha’s response:

On the other hand, ‘Rashtriya Lok Morcha’ (RLM) chief Upendra Kushwaha has also expressed his views on this entire matter. However, his response seems a little more balanced. He has not expressed his unhappiness directly, but has made it clear that talks are going on regarding seat sharing and he is optimistic that the aspirations of all the constituent parties will be respected. No final statement has come from their side yet, which seems to indicate that they are still seeing scope for dialogue and reconciliation.

There are many small parties included in the NDA alliance and whenever it comes to seat sharing, all the parties want to increase their share. This political tug of war will test the unity of the alliance before the upcoming elections. All eyes are now on the big leaders of NDA to see how they manage these allies and find a solution that is acceptable to all.
